Climbing Mt. Olympus !

Climbing Mount Olympus is a non-technical hike, except for the final 30 minute section from Skala summit to Mitikas summit, which is YDS class 3 rock scramble….. It is estimated that 10,000 people climb Mount Olympus each year, most of them reaching only the Skolio summit (which does not involve rock scramble).
Most climbs to Mount Olympus start from the town of Litochoro, on the roots of the mountain.
From there a road goes to Prionia, where the hike begins at the bottom of the mountain.

Day 1:
Arrival Athens Airport, transfer to Hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 2:
City sightseeing of Athens  with Organized tour including English speaking guide and Acropolis visit , lunch at local restaurant and departure to Litohoro. (approx 4,5 hrs).
Dinner and overnight.

Day 3:
Transfer from Litohoro to Prionia Station (approx 30’), climbing to “Zolotas” refuge with English speaking assistant/alpinist (approx 3 hrs)
Overnight.

Day 4:
Climbing Mt. Olympus till afternoon with speaking assistant/alpinist
Overnight.

Day 5:
Departure from “Zolotas” refuge with English speaking assistant/alpinist
to “Prionia” station. Transfer to Litohoro for Lunch.
Transfer to Athens (approx 4,5 hrs).
Dinner and overnight.

Day 6:
Full day Cruise with lunch to islands Aegina, Hydra and Poros.
Dinner and overnight.

Day 7:
Transfer to Athens airport.
